Daiwa Chemical Industries’“KIRARA MS” is a mica dispersion product which brings out brilliant luster under any light source after processing of colored fabrics.This can be applied to any fabric, but is especially suitable for dresses, blouses and T-shirts. According to the test Daiwa Chemical carried out, it has a resistance of 10 washings.

The description and features of “KIRARA MS” are as follows:

1. Description

Appearance: Pearly-white dispersion
Component: Mica dispersion product
Ionicity: Anion
pH: 9±1(2%-solution)

2. Features

It brings out brilliant luster under any light source after processing of colored fabrics.

3. Usage/method

  Allow 0.5~2 %(o.w.f.) adhesion to substrates.
  Carry out padding treatment since “KIRARA MS” is not absorbed into fabrics.
  Smoothly carry out processing after the preparation of solutions.
  Note that it settles fast.

4. Example

Substrate (cotton knit)
KIRARA MS 1.0%-solution
Bintex AS-518 (binder) 7.0%-solution
Catalyst Super (binder) 0.5%-solution
Sauber Disper L conc. (binder)
2.0%-solution
Squeezing(100%)→Drying(105°C)→Curing(160°C×2min.)

5. Packaging : 16kg can
