Q:Tell us your outlook on the future of charcoal processing, which is currently increasing.
Nakagawa:
I think charcoal processing using Bincho-tan/Take-zumi will see further, considerable growth. Mikiriken Industrial has developed and been distributing the related products in two different styles, finishing agents made with charcoal dispersed in water for use in post-processing, and charcoal-incorporated fiber.

Q:What are the special features of charcoal processing?
Nakagawa:It produces far-infrared, deodorant, minus-ion generating and anti-bacterial effects with durability.

(See 'Charcoal Applications' section for details.)
