Effectiveness in cleaning stains from machinery
3-1-1. Test for the removal of tarred dyes
Preparation of tarred stainless holder
The test material was prepared by drying and curing a stainless holder for wrapping cloth with a 500g/L solution of disperse black dyestuff.
130 60min wet treatment 90
drying 130 3 hours 180
5 hours Preparation completed
3-1-2. Cleaning test
Cleaning solutions of various concentrations of Kayaclean F (caustic soda, cleaning agent) were prepared. The tarred test material (stainless holder) was washed at 130
for 30min and rinsed twice. A dye-bath (pH 4.5) was then prepared and PET tropical dyed. The results were then checked for staining. This procedure was repeated three times.

Characteristics
Machine cleaning agent
| • |
Kayaclean F can readily remove un-fixed dyestuff attached to the inside of machinery, as well as decomposed dyestuff, and oil, sizing agent and oligomer fixed to fibers. |
| • |
By using it in conjunction with an alkali such as NaOH, this agent is extremely effective in the dispersal of tarred dyestuffs (coagulated dyestuffs) and is capable of preventing staining caused
by stripped dyestuff. |
| • |
By using it in conjunction with an alkali such as NaOH, this agent is very effective in the separation and dispersal of PET oligomer, thus capable of preventing problems associated with oligomers. |
| • |
When the oligomer is very difficult to remove, Kayaclean T-200 or T-600 should be used in conjunction with this agent. |
| • |
For the removal of silicon oil, use Kayareguard S (silicon resin removing agent) in conjunction with this agent. |
| • |
Allows the rationalization of the machine cleaning process (e.g. time, water consumption). |
| • |
Extremely stable, retaining liquid form even at low temperatures. |
| • |
Can be used with a variety of dyestuffs. |
