  K. Izutsu, Nippon Kayaku Chemicals Division
6. Directions for use of Kayacera Paste

The number of anions found in forests are said to be around 200-300/ml. With the target set at this figure, it requires the use of a 10% solution of Kayacera Paste to generate anions at the same level as a forest atmosphere.

<Performance>

Treatment: Padding (80% pick-up), drying (110°C, 5min.) and curing (170°C, 1min.)
Fabric: Cotton knit
Concentration: Kayacera Paste 10%
Binder: Kayacryl Resin T-126* 5%
Water: 85%
*Kayacryl Resin T126, a binder for cotton developed by Nippon Kayaku, has washing resistance (10-time repeat washing) and a good hand.

Note:
Effects may be cancelled depending on the kind of binders used, with loss of the minus charge. Anion generation becomes less easy especially when polyester, nylon and wool are used.
