Parafine SC-1000

Ohara Paragium Chemical's Parafine SC-1000 is a water-absorbent softening agent which aims at improved skincare, being mainly composed of silk amino acids (silk protein). Silk amino acids are rich in moisture-retaining properties which contribute to the well-being of the skin, in use for innerwear and pantyhose.

The following are descriptions of the main components, uses and processing recipes.

Parafine SC-1000

Main component	Silk amino acids	(Silk protein extract) *Effective in retaining moisture in the skin.
	Aqueous polyurethane	*Produces water-absorbent properties with laundering resistance.
Main use	Innerwear, pantyhose etc.

Dipping method

Parafine SC-1000 3%o.w.f.

Dipping at 40°C for 15min, liquor ratio 1:30 Centrifugal dehydration → Drying at a temperature between 100-120°C for 1-2min
