Seiren and KB Seiren have jointly developed a light-blocking material "Whiet" with (1) anti-transparent, (2) spy photography prevention and (3) UV shielding functions. In particular it has a special feature that it does not easily became
transparent even when wet.

The original yarn is "IMAGE" a polyester filament finished with shading-effect, ultrafine-particle titanium oxide as a main component added with several types
of modification agent.

The company will promote its applications starting from swimwear and sports wear and then to sheer materials for underclothes, shirts and blouses and medium-density-materials for jackets and bottoms.
