Shanghai Kaken has obtained "CNAS" (inspection body accreditation based on ISO/IEC 17025) from the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment as of May 17, 2007. "Textile Products General Safety Specification" has become effective in China since last year. This law obliges people to submit safety assurance data to sell textile products or garments in China. In obtaining "CNAS," data and certificates issued by Shanghai Kaken have become effective for products sold in China.
