Realignment through buyouts of textile chemical businesses are proceeding in many chemical manufacturers in Europe, and similarly, there has been a movement to put into practice a realignment plan in Japan and it is expected to surface in November. The way will resemble how LANXESS of Germany assigned all textile chemical businesses to Tanatex of the Netherlands, which was oriented toward enhancing its textile chemical business worldwide, in order to focus on non-textile business divisions.
