Ciba Japan (H.O.: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Kazuhiko Tanaka) will raise the price of plastic additives, mainly benzotriazole type ultraviolet absorbers by 5 to 10%. This will be from November 1 shipments, due to a corresponding increase in raw material prices, energy costs and physical distribution expenses.
