The Hohenstein Institutes of Germany, a member of the International Oeko-Tex Association, established a representative office in Tirupur in Southern India. In this new representative office, they will facilitate the acquisition of Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and the testing of raw materials and products for European textile manufacturers which enter south India.

The Hohenstein Institutes already-have offices in China, India and Turkey, offering a wide variety of services from inspection of products, even at the experimental stage, to monitoring of cargo operations.
