Freudenberg Politex will introduce a new spunbond nonwoven facility into its nonwoven plant in Zavolzhie, near Nizhniy Novgorod in Russia. The company acquired this plant at the end of 2004 and introduced a polyester S nonwoven production facility, and started production from September 2006 after attaching both offices and storage. With this expansion, it will supply asphalt sheet using polyester S spunbond nonwoven for the first time in Russia.
