Zorlu Group of Turkey has recently opened the first shop of "TAC International Home-textile Life House," a household textiles retail store selling towels and bedclothing, in Chengdu city, Sichuan Province, in collaboration with China Crown Textile Co., Ltd. This shop will be selling products from the company's affiliates, Tac and Linens, as well as Sisley, Casa and United Colors of Benetton, of which the company owns distributorship for bed linen products. The shop has an area of 600m², and is targeting middle to higher-income earners. The group aims to open 45 stores mainly in big cities.

Zorlu Group is looking at manufacturing locally for cost reduction purposes, and has established a fifty-fifty joint venture "Sichuan Zorlu & Yinhua Co., Ltd." with Sichuan Yinhua Co., Ltd from Shehong, Sichuan. The company is planning to establish an integrated system of production from raw materials to finished products for spinning and weaving, dyeing and household textile products with an investment of 4 billion yuan, introducing 180 AJLs as the initial step. After its completion, it will be capable of producing 200 millionm ² curtains and apparel fabrics and 600 millionm ² household textiles annually, expecting annual sales of 6 billion yuan.
