Ratio of fuel cost to textile production cost in Indonesia

According to the Indonesian Textile Association, the percentage of fuel cost in the total cost of textile production is rising sharply, which is 28% for spinning, 18.5% for fiber, 14.4% for wovens and knitted, 14.4% for dyeing, 13.9% for printing and finishing and 1.3% for sewing.
Indonesia's national oil and gas company, Pertamina, raised the fuel price in March again, and the price went up by 3.2~6.5%. Meanwhile, for coal, domestic coal companies have been shifting most of the supplies to high-margin exporting due to an advance of international prices, which tightens domestic demand and supply, sending coal prices through the roof.
