Benetton Group and a leading retailer Sears Mexico have signed an agreement to form a strategic partnership to expand the sales of Benetton in the Mexican market. According to this agreement, 250 of "United Colors of Benetton" stores will be opened in Mexico by 2010. Benetton will concentrate its forces to expand its sales in Latin America as well as in India, China, Turkey, Russia and Eastern Europe and establish a branch in Miami as a sourcing hub and distribution base for products for North and South America.
