"Technorama GⅡ" is able to re-create various kinds of meteorological environments around the world such as the polar regions with howling blizzards, dry deserts and high-humidity tropical jungles, and the company already owns a similar facility at its Seta plant in Otsu city, Shiga, but the new facility in Nantong, Jiangsu has a two-room structure with main and sub-chambers, which enables the setting of two separate environments. For example, it can evaluate the effect on clothes in travelling between two kinds of ambient conditions such as from outside in a sweaty summer to inside in an air-conditioned room or from inside a heated vehicle to outside the vehicle where it is snowing physiological response of the human body.

The company is currently expanding its textile, resin and film businesses in the Chinese market in which tremendous growth can be expected, and using "Technorama GⅡ, " it will promote research and technology developments on environment-conscious materials and automotive materials with future growth potential
