Major Indian textile manufacturer, Arvind Mills announced that it has called off its joint venture with Italian leading apparel maker Diesel. Arvind Mills explained the reason saying "the company feels that the JV agreement would restrict both companies' future expansion plans in India." Arvind Mills has announced a four-year expansion plan for its retail business with an investment of 4 billion rupees (about $100 million).
