Hayashi Chemical Industry carries out trial production of new type fixing agent for ink-jet pigment ink (for cotton) |
|
As has already been in part reported, Hayashi Chemical Industry in Kyoto has
carried out test production of a new type fixing agent for ink-jet printing on
cotton with pigment ink. The aim of the trial production is to solve a disadvantage
that the concentration of colors will be reduced when pigment is ink-jet printed
onto cotton, caused by pigments sinking into the fiber structure. Hayashi Chemical
Industry, aiming to eliminate the disadvantage, produced two fixing agents which
can firmly fix pigments by forming nano-level particle and fine porous coated
film.
These two trial products are called High coat FIXA-100 and High coat FIXB-20.
They are to fix pigments by the coating and spraying method. They have been tested
to fix hues of ink-jet printing on polyester with pigment ink as well.
