Hyosung of Korea has started its spandex production in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The company invested US$100 million to build the plant starting construction in October 2007, it will have an annual production capacity of 15,000 tons.

With the operation of the Vietnamese plant, its combined annual production capacity of spandex will be 92,000 tons with the Korea, Turkey and China plants.

The company has opened a liaison office in New Delhi to intensify the sales of its spandex "Creora."
