Printing firm in Wakayama proceeds with printing experiment to reduce terpene volume

As a countermeasure for VOC regulations, relevant authorities have been strongly urging the printing industry to reduce terpene usage. In response, a major printing firm in Wakayama found a method to reduce usage of terpene significantly. This method can maintain the same color performance as that of printing using terpene, but leaving a little hardness of hand in the printed fabric after soaping, so to solve the problem, the company is considering chemical treatment to remove the hardness from the printed fabric during the soaping process.
