The world biggest synthetic processed yarn maker, Unifi, Inc. in the US, has agreed to tie up with Burlington WorldWide Apparel and United Knitting in development of woven and knitted fabrics using its nylon 66 "Repreve." Burlington WorldWide Apparel which is one of the divisions of International Textile Group (ITG), headed by the investor, Mr. Ross, is planning to promote "Repreve" fabric at the Generations Collection targeting functional sportswear. United Knitting is planning to introduce "Repreve" nylon as a new eco-friendly knit material for active-knitwear.
