When polyester/polyurethane blends or union goods are dyed, disperse dye tends to stain the polyurethane side, which causes troubles such as dullness in shade, poor reproducibility and insufficient
fastness.
UNIONAL EU is a disperse dye, which has excellent stain resisting effects on polyurethane and this product improves fastness and also improves build-up effects on polyester side.
Properties and aspects
| Appearance: |
dark brownish liquid. |
| Component: |
natural tannin compounding ingredient |
| Ionicity: |
anionic |
| pH: |
about 2.5 (1 % solution), less than 1 (non-diluted) |
| Solubility: |
water soluble |
Characteristics
- When polyester/polyurethane is dyed, UNIONAL EU enhances polyurethane's resistance to disperse-dye staining.
- UNIONAL EU also enhances the build-up effects of disperse dye on the polyester side.
Usage
When the exhaustion dyeing is done in polyester/polyurethane, UNIONAL EU is added to a dye bath containing disperse dyes. Depending on the mixture ratio, the type of the dyestuff or the concentration,
the standard amounts are as follows.
Reduction clearing should be carried out after dyeing to improve anti-yellowing effects and fastness.
