When dyeing wool with the leveling or half-milling type of acid dyes, well-leveled dyeing with brilliant color performance can be achieved. However, fixing agents are required as adequate wet fastness
is otherwise not obtained.
Woolfaster 105 is a fixing agent mainly composed of polyhydric phenol derivatives, for use in the acid dyeing of wool. It remarkably improves the wet fastness of fabric. It produces excellent effects
by the one-bath method, not requiring two-bath method as with natural tannin/antimonyl potassium tartarate processing.

SPECIAL FEATURES
- Woolfaster 105 remarkably improves the wet fastness of wool in dyeing with acid dyes.
- Woolfaster 105 produces synergy effects when used with Chromosol SSS.
* Chromosol SSS: one of our hydrofluosilicic-acid-type fixing agents
- Woolfaster 105 causes less color change and less hardening of fabric, compared to natural tannin/antimonyl potassium tartarate processing.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Directions for use alter according to the kind and concentration of dyes, the kind and form of materials to be dyed and processing methods, however, the general procedure is as shown below.
•Single usage
•Usage when mixed with Chromosol SSS
<Standard quantity for use> (% o.w.f)
<Precautions for use>
Precipitation occurs if Woolfaster 105 is mixed with Chromosol SSS at a high concentration. Both agents are to be added to the dye bath after being diluted more than 10 times.
NOTE
Thorough testing is required before use.
QUANTITY
20 kg
NOTES ON HANDLING AND STORING
Careful handling is required as this is a strongly acidic substance.
| 1) |
Because of the substance being corrosive, precautions must be taken at all costs to protect the handler during use with appropriate gloves, spectacles, clothing and such. |
| 2) |
In the event of direct contact with the eyes, the mouth or the skin, immediate rinsing under running water for at least 15 minutes and prompt medical attention will be necessary. |
| 3) |
Thorough rinsing of the hands and the mouth after handling is required. |
| 4) |
The container needs to be tightly fastened to prevent any foreign matter from getting into it during use. |
| 5) |
For storing it should be kept out of direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place (5-35°C). Please refer to related laws. |
| 6) |
It needs to be disposed of as industrial waste. |
