Clear Resin W-500
Semi-discharge printing auxiliary for use with acid and disperse dyes

A halftone motif printed on the back of foam, laminated, ground and semi-discharge printed

Clear Resin W-500 is a product specially designed to produce high-value-added prints by stripping parts of ground dyestuff off fabric.

Discharge-printed parts of pad-dyed or dyed fabric will come off because of absorption by the resin during steaming. This results in an excellent semi-discharge printing effect.

Clear Resin W-500 can also be applied in resist printing.

[ Resist printing: process]

  1. Print with Clear Resin W-500 applied on pad-dyed or dyed fabric, dry and steam (HP or HTS).

  2. Print with Clear Resin W-500, dry, print with color paste, dry and steam (HP or HTS).

  • With Clear Resin W-500, good results can be obtained using the wet-on-wet method as in b.

  • Clear Resin W-500 is recommended for use with most disperse and acid dyestuffs.

  • To reduce viscosity, dilute with water.

  • This agent does not require dyestuff selection because of the method of decoloration through elution and absorption. Dyestuffs' compatibility to discharge printing, therefore, is not an issue here.
