Hayashi Chemical Industries has begun activities for sales expansion of a new type of special printing auxiliary, Uniston EG-30, an opal finishing agent developed for high value-added printing and finishing. The firm is strengthening its sales promotion both in the domestic and overseas markets.

Hayashi Chemical strengthens provision of textile chemicals, which produces transparency in fabric. The picture shows treated fabric hung by the window.

Uniston EG-30 is an opal finishing agent for polyester blends with cellulosics, such as cotton and rayon.

[Method of treatment]

Printing with printing paste above → Drying → Baking (170°C x 1 min. or 130°C x 3 min.) → Washing-off

Note: For heavy weaves such as knits, the addition of a penetrating agent 'HI-OL EG-5' (2-4%) to the printing paste is necessary at the final stage of preparation. This should be very effective.
