Natural special finishing agent

Preshade 2A

Among all natural-type auxiliaries drawing growing attention, the use of Ipposha Oil Industries' Preshade 2A, an inorganic, skin-friendly finishing agent developed in cooperation with Lion Corporation is increasing both in Japan and overseas.

Preshade 2A, made of carefully selected components of natural lamellar silicate (smectite), which is used generally in mudpack products for skin, imparts fabric water absorbency, a protective coating and smooth hand. Production of a scrooping texture in cotton is another special feature.

No adverse effects are expected in dyeing, and inhibition in water absorbency and whiteness in cotton is minimal. In addition, it also has protein-adsorbing properties.

General Characteristics

    Appearance: Green turbid liquid
    Ionicity: Anionic
pH: Weak alkaline (1% ion-exchange water)
Solubility: Dispersed in cold water, slightly turbid

Properties

    1. A natural-type processing agent that is gentle to the skin, made of natural lamellar silicate (smectite) found naturally in soil.
    2. Imparts to fabric a unique quality with properties that allow swelling due to water absorption, a protective coating and smooth hand.
    3. Produces little influence on dyeing.
    4. Produces little hindrance to water absorbency of cotton.
    5. Produces little hindrance to whiteness of fabric.
    6. Capable of protein absorption.
