The highly effective and concentrated scouring agent Tripon AC-28, which has recently been developed and put onto the market by Ipposha Oil Industries, is superior in alkaline stability, compatible with continuous scouring, low foaming even at high temperatures and does not produce clogging in chemical inlet tubes when mixed with stock alkali solution (NaOH 25%).

Description of Tripon AC-28

Scouring is an important process that contributes to improved quality in dyed fabric, from which foreign substances found on gray fabric coming from both primary and secondary sources (cotton wax, thickener, wax and knitting oil) are removed so that smooth progress is ensured in the process of dyeing.

Ipposha Oil Industries’ Tripon AC-28 is a scouring agent which is highly effective, concentrated and low-foaming, superior in primary penetration, wax emulsification and removal.

It does not turn into a gel when mixed with a stock alkali solution during scouring. It maintains its low-foaming properties even at high temperatures and defoams quickly.

Features of Tripon AC-28

1. Tripon AC-28 is a highly-concentrated scouring agent which can be used in half the quantities of regular products to produce a good washing effect and prevent redeposition.
2. Superior in the emulsification and removal of wax.
3. Superior in initial penetration.
4. Does not inhibit enzymatic activity, thus suitable for use as a scouring and penetrating agent for enzymatic desizing.
5. Extremely low-foaming at temperatures ranging from room temperature to high treatment temperatures.
6. Defoams quickly, preventing foaming trouble during effluent discharge and in drainage.
7. Superior alkaline (NaOH) stability and compatible with continuous scouring.
8. Residual agent in the scoured cloth will hardly influence dyeability.

Directions for use

Tripon AC-28 is a highly concentrated scouring agent which can take effect at half the concentration (0.5-1.0g/L) of regular products. The quantity used, however, should be adjusted according to the scouring method, the kind of fabric and machinery used.
