Deep-dyeing agent for nylon fiber

Builder NY-66
Deep-dyeing agent for nylon fiber
Developed by Maya Trading, production and sales to begin

Maya Trading (1-5-6-513, Kita Kyuhoji-cho, Chuo-ku, Osaka) has developed and begun the production and sales of Builder NY-66, a deep-dyeing agent for the black or navy-blue dyeing of nylon fiber, in response to increasing demand from dyeing plants in Japan and other Asian countries. Being composed of a special resin compound which has self-crosslinking properties at a low refractive index, it is free from chalk mark production or shade alteration over time. Another special feature is that it does not affect fastness in acid-dyed materials. The following are details given by the developers.

The outline of Builder NY-66

[Description]

Appearance: Translucent milky-white emulsion
Component: Special reactive polyurethane resin, acrylic resin
pH: 4.0±0.5
Ionicity: Weakly cationic
Stability: Approx. 6 months under normal conditions

  1. Produces superior deep-dyeing effects.
  2. Imparts superior resistance to laundering and dry cleaning.
  3. Has little influence on dyestuff.
  4. Results in superior in-bath stability during treatment, with smaller risks of gumming-up or foaming.
  5. Makes possible one-bath treatment, being compatible with softeners and anti-static agents.

[Method of use]
