Elegant crinkle finishing of polyester has been made possible without the use of a crinkling machine, through a joint development with a manufacturing firm. The following are details announced by Maya Trading.

<Finishing method>

1. Polyester cloth is printed with a special paste (printing of the area desired for crinkling). The advantage of this method is that the printed portion crinkles.
   
2. The printed cloth is laminated with a special resin sheet.
   
3. Heating of the cloth in its laminated state produces crinkles.
   
4. The paste printed on the cloth is removed by cold rinsing.
   
5. The cloth is dried and spread on a stenter for finishing.
