CTM-3000 CONC developed
for hydrogen peroxide bleaching innovation
Maya Trading has begun the promotion of a special enzyme for the environmental control law in bleaching knitted cotton with hydrogen peroxide for the Chinese market.
Many knitted cottons are bleached with hydrogen peroxide in China.
When knitted cotton is bleached with hydrogen peroxide, the dyeing process proceeds while the fabric is still wet after bleaching; however more than 10ppm hydrogen peroxide may remain even after rinsing.
Because of that, there are some problems such as causing dyeing failure reacting
with the reactive group of a reactive dye. To solve those problems, sodium thiosulfate
had been used for removing residual hydrogen peroxide in the past. However, since
it is a reducing agent, unreacted sodium thiosulfate remains which adversely
affects dyeability. Maya Trading has confirmed excellent bleaching effects and
good results in improving dyeability at post-process by using the special enzyme
CTM 3000 CONC as a countermeasure for this problem. It has the characteristics
to make a significant contribution to environmental measures.
CTM-3000 CONC : Description
CTM-3000 CONC is a bacterial-origin hydrogen peroxide degrading enzyme developed with the latest biotechnology, which is an environment-friendly liquid enzyme preparation.
Since it has a high potency, it is effective in low quantities.

Hydrogen peroxide-containing wastewater treatment, pulp, paper andfood factory wastewater treatment, and other removal of hydrogen peroxide.
Since CTM-3000 CONC has a high potency, it is used as a raw material for standard products and is easy to use by diluting. |

It breaks down hydrogen peroxide powerfully within its reaction temperature 30 ~ 70°C. Around 70% of activity remains under the treatment conditions for 30 min at 80°C and pH7.
It shows stable decomposition power within pH4 ~ 10 with little influence on activity.
Since it has an excellent biodegradability and its decomposition products are water and oxygen, it is extremely safe. |
