Calls for reassessing non-artificial, natural materials have grown in recent years, with regard to the global environment and safety of the human body. TO-2 consists of capsules of capsaicin extract
from chillies. Capsaicin causes blood vessels to dilate and promotes blood flow. It is used in a tincture for chilblains and naturally and powerfully stimulates peripheral parts of sensory nerves, thereby
causing a sensation of warmth with minimal effect on blood vessels and producing no blisters even when used in high concentrations.
