Wet-rubbing fastness improver (for cellulosic fibers)

Danfix-MM11, MM12: directions for use

In principle, Danfix-MM11 and MM12 are effective in methods featured below after dyeing, fixing and rinsing.

Dipping method

Danfix-MM11 4-8% o.w.f.
Danfix-MM12 0.2-0.8% o.w.f. (approx. 5-10% MM11 in principle)

-Treat with both agents diluted to an appropriate concentration (no effects expected when added to a fixing bath).

Liquor ratio: 1:20-15
Temperature: ambient temperature
Time: 10-20 minutes

- Finish off with rinsing and drying (no heat treatment required).

The amount used should be determined through preliminary testing as it differs according to the kind of the substrate and conditions.

Continuous method

Danfix-MM11 20-60g/L
Danfix-MM12 1-6g/L (approx. 5-10% of MM11 in principle)

(No effects expected when added to a fixing bath.)

- Pad, squeeze and dry.
- Finish off with rinsing and drying (no heat treatment required).

The amount used should be determined through preliminary testing as it differs according to the kind of the substrate and conditions.

Note

  • In case of carrying out extra treatments such as softening after the Danfix MM1/MM2 treatment, preliminary testing is necessary as it may involve the risk of producing adverse effects in rubbing fastness depending on the kind of chemicals used.
  • Storage should be under hermetic seal in a cool, dark place.
