High value-added finishing auxiliaries

3. Natural auxiliaries

As environment-oriented products, Takamatsu Oil & Fat offers the following natural-component-based finishing auxiliaries.

Ranges of products with animal, plant or mineral origin are available. We produce antibacterial, lustering agents and softeners using animal-base ingredients, such as chitosan extracted from the shell of crabs, collagen from bovine hide or fish scale, albumen, fibroin and squalane, the shark liver oil extract.

Our plant-origin auxiliaries include cleaning agents made with limonene (citrus rind oil), deodorants based on plant extracts, and natural binders made from glucomannan contained in a Japanese yam, all has been developed making use of natural, unique powers of plants and are therefore virtually harmless to the human body.

Available in the form of water dispersion are anion, far-infrared, deodorant finishing agents, developed through the use of our technology for dispersing/stabilizing natural ore, mother of pearl, coral, silicate rock in water (see Table 4).
