Car seat finishing auxiliaries of Takamatsu Oil & Fat
Antistatic property/abrasion resistance/sewing efficiency improver "ELENITE A-73R"
It prevents seat abrasion without inhibiting flame resisting
property
Takamatsu Oil & Fat’s antistatic property/abrasion
resistance/sewing efficiency improver “ELENITE A-73R” is
an auxiliary capable of producing good durability when being
added to a dye bath to prevent degradation of the antistatic
property, being applied to car seats, that usually occurs with
temporary antistatic agents from seat abrasion, and it can improve
abrasion resistance and sewing efficiency of seats as well as
the antistatic property.
“ELENITE A-73R” can improve appearance quality of
fabric with soft hand by adding flexibility to dyed fabric and
prevent creasing in the dye bath when used at the same time as
dyeing.
“ELENITE A-73R” has a characteristic that does not
easily harm the flame resisting property, consisting of a polyester
resin-based finishing auxiliary.
The following is a treatment recipe for antistatic property/abrasion
resistance/sewing efficiency improver “ELENITE A-73R.”
(1) RC one-bath treatment after dyeing
Test specimen: Polyester knitted
fabric
Liquor ratio1 : 15
Treating (130°C x 30min.),
RC (liquor ratio 1:15, 80°C x 20min.) *,
rinsing , drying (100°C x 3min.) and setting (150~180°C
x 1min.)
* Note : Soda ash 2g/L is
used for alkali, since strong alkali
like NaOH causes degradation of antistatic property.

Oil & Fat’s polyester resin based finishing auxiliaries
are not only able to add functions required for car seats,
but suitable for seat recycling, responding to global environmental
issues, owing to the similar structure to polyester car seat
materials. The company will continue efforts in the future
toward developing technologies to contribute to the industry
by seeking further new functionalities. |
