Machine cleaner "Neopolan RC-500"
Introduction
Cleaning of the dyeing machine remains a major problem in
the rationalization of dyeing plants. This is especially true
recently with cases of oligomer production resulting from high-speed
spinning becoming more frequent as well as with increasing
hardness of water used. In addition, the increase in the dyeing
of union knits and weaves, which often requires more than one
dyestuff, has raised the likelihood of trouble occurring. Neopolan
RC-500 is a dyeing machine cleaning agent developed under such
circumstances.

Features
| * |
Displays superior performance in dissolving
dyestuff. |
| * |
Superior in the decomposition of oligomers, as well
as terephthalic acid and titanium oxide produced during
weight reduction treatment. |
| * |
Produces superior effects in the chelation of metal
salts. |
| * |
Effective in the removal and dispersion of tarred material
in dyeing machines. |
| * |
Does not damage the dyeing machine. |
Method of use
*
|
While standard recipes are outlined below, the method
used is not fixed and varies with conditions of the subject
of cleaning (including compatibility with agents used
simultaneously). The recipe should be determined upon
preliminary testing. |

Example |
| Cleaning agent |
Recipe 1 |
Recipe 2 |
| Neopolan RC-500 |
2~5g/L |
1~2g/L |
| Caustic soda (flake) |
2~5g/L |
0.5~2g/L |
| Hydrosulfite |
2~3g/L |
1~2g/L |
Recipe 1 is for general machine cleaning.
Temperature x Time: 130-135゚C x 20-40min
Recipe 2 is for use during reduction clearing (for simultaneous
reduction clearing and machine cleaning).
Temperature x Time: 80-90゚C x 20min
In both cases, treatment is carried out in the following
order:
Addition of clearing agent at low temperature → Heating → Cleaning → Cooling
Directions for use
- Increase either the amount of cleaning agent used or the
frequency of treatment in cases of heavier soiling than usual
appearing on the machine when using Neopolan RC-500 for the
first time. This is because the soiling includes what could
not be removed by conventional cleaning. Any subsequent cleaning
may then be carried out normally.
- Verify performance and other factors during or after treatment
with Neopolan RC-500 as required.
