Introduction

* Mild Finish 20P-M is a skincare finishing agent/softener developed to meet natural-oriented demand for textile goods, mainly comprised of natural components and substances considered safe for the skin and commonly used in cosmetics.
* The main component of Mild Finish 20P-M is highly-refined squalane, which is chemically-stabilized squalene made from shark liver oil.

Examples of application

1) Produces soft hand without tackiness in cellulose fiber, such as cotton and rayon, wool, acrylics and polyester through padding treatment.
Treatment: Padding → Drying (70-100゚C) → Curing (140-180゚C) (curing can be abbreviated)
A 2-3% solution is preferred as a padding bath with Mild Finish 20P-M, while a 1-5% solution is usually used.
2) Favorable hand can also be attained in hydrophilic fiber such as cotton by the use of the dipping method.
    Treatment: Dipping (40-60゚C) → Dehydration→ Drying (70-100゚C) → Curing (140-180゚C)
    (curing can be abbreviated)
    Liqour ratio = 1:20
The concentration used for a Mild Finish 20P-M dipping bath is 1-5% o.w.f.

Remarks: Though little deterioration in dyeing fastness is expected, verification by preliminary testing is necessary.
