Introduction

Mild Finish 20P-M is a skincare finishing agent/softener
developed to meet natural-oriented demand for textile
goods, mainly comprised of natural components and substances
considered safe for the skin and commonly used in cosmetics. |

The main component of Mild Finish 20P-M is highly-refined
squalane, which is chemically-stabilized squalene made
from shark liver oil. |

Squalane is an important base-material oil, widely
used in cosmetics, medicinal ointment, hemorrhoid or
other remedies for its chemical stability, biological
inertness, skin permeability, spreadability, affinity
and moisture-retaining properties, while squalene is
a familiar health food. |

Mild Finish 20P-M is a very safe emulsion mainly composed
of naturally-derived squalane with advantages mentioned
above, other natural ingredients and surfactants commonly
used in cosmetics. |

Application

leisurewear, baby wear, general underwear and outerwear,
as well as in hygiene products such as disposable nappies. |

Examples of application

Produces soft hand without tackiness in cellulose fiber,
such as cotton and rayon, wool, acrylics and polyester
through padding treatment. |

(70-100゚C) → Curing
(140-180゚C) (curing can be abbreviated)
A 2-3% solution is preferred as a padding bath with Mild Finish 20P-M,
while a 1-5% solution is usually used. |

Favorable hand can also be attained in hydrophilic
fiber such as cotton by the use of the dipping method. |
| Treatment: |
Dipping (40-60゚C) → Dehydration→ Drying
(70-100゚C) → Curing
(140-180゚C)

Liqour ratio = 1:20
The concentration used for a Mild Finish 20P-M dipping bath is 1-5%
o.w.f. |
| Remarks: |
Though little deterioration in dyeing fastness is
expected, verification by preliminary testing is necessary. |

Directions for use
- Verify compatibility with other chemicals before use. Dilute
with cold or warm water before addition.
- Verify performance and other factors during treatment or
after use as required.
Handling instructions
- Ensure that the workplace is well ventilated and avoid
contact with the eyes and skin. Use protective clothing as
required. Wash hands and face thoroughly after use.
- In the event of direct contact with the eyes, wash the
eyes immediately under running water for 15 minutes or more,
and seek prompt medical attention.
- In the event of swallowing, spit out immediately (but do
not induce vomiting if unsuccessful), and seek prompt medical
attention.
- In the event of inhalation, remove immediately to fresh
air, rest and preserve body heat. Seek medical help if required.
- Use this product as soon as possible and avoid outside
storage. Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature between
5-35゚C away from direct sunlight in air-tight conditions.
