KAYACION E-CM reactive dye series for automated dip dyeing of cotton
Features

Kayacion

In the dyeing industry, the demand for small lot production for various kinds of materials and a quick delivery cycle have been increasing. Consequently, a rational dyeing process and dyeing recipe, an improvement in the accuracy of computer colour matching (CCM) and avoidance of dyeing problems have become important.

When considering these factors, reactive dyes have many more problems than other dyes such as disperse dyes.

However, dyeing is generally performed using a combination of several dyes. It is difficult to consider the interaction of each component. The dyestuff itself must be also studied for a successful estimation of the dye interaction.

The Kayacion E-CM series has enabled the simplification of basic data for CCM, resulting in an improvement in CCM accuracy, and the correction of recipes calling for different liquor ratios created by computer.

Kayacion E-CM Series
Properties of the trichromatic dyes

Kayacion Yellow E-CM
Kayacion Red E-CM
Kayacion Marine E-CM

These trichromatic combination dyes are adjusted in dye affinity and dyeing properties and interaction among components has been minimized.

We believe that this new series will be extremely helpful when dyehouses proceed to laboratory and factory automation.

Characteristics of combination dyeing with Kayacion E-CM

* Simplification of CCM basic data and improvement of precision of CCM recipe.
* Optimum amount of Glauber's salt by COMET System is determined.
* Calculation of the factor of different liquor ratio by COMET System is possible.
* Very good dyeing reproducibility and levelling property.
* Very good fastness properties to perspiration / light and chlorinated water, etc.
