3-4. Dyeing of cellulose-based mixtures
Products with specific properties can be obtained through the use of cellulosic fiber with synthetic fibers to make the most of its hand and hygroscopic properties, mainly in mixing it with polyester.
Combinations with other types of cellulosic fiber and ones with other natural fibers such as wool, can explore new possibilities of cellulosic fibers in exclusive materials, each with its specific hand.
Major combinations of cellulose-based mixtures are as shown in Table 10.

While there is a variety of dyes developed and a wide range of selection is available for cellulosic fiber, reactive, direct and vat dyes are the ones often used in the practical dyeing of the mixtures,
and the use of reactive dyes in particular, is increasing.
Dyeing and staining properties of dyes for cellulose on other fibers are as shown in Table 11.
