Sumitomo Chemical/Sumika Chemtex
High-fixation type reactive dyes Sumifix HF series

Sumitomo Chemical/Sumika Chemtex has been intensifying worldwide promotion of the Sumifix HF series, the much-awaited, high-temperature/high-fixation type reactive dyes, now extended to a 7-item line-up. The HF series is expected to produce considerable effects in deep dyeing, with the most remarkable feature being the high fixation rate (over 80%). A uniform development of dye exhaustion curves in combination dyeing is another characteristic. It has seven special qualities; 1) high dyeability, 2) feasibility of low salt dyeing, 3) shorter dyeing time, 4) excellent reproducibility, 5) suitability for mixed dyeing 6) excellent wash-off property and 7) good fastness levels.

Sumitomo stresses the point that Sumifix HF is highly effective for the dyeing of mixed fiber, particularly that with spandex.
Advantages expected in deep dyeing

Sumitomo Chemical/Sumika Chemtex have extended the Sumifix HF series to the 7-item line-up, Yellow 3R, Scarlet 2G, Red G, Red 2B, Blue 2R, Blue BG and Navy 2G.

According to numerous data on the effects provided by Sumitomo Chemical/Sumika Chemtex, the seven items in the Sumifix series can take full advantage of being of a high-temperature type through considerable reduction of salt required in dyeing.
Benefits are expected especially in deep-dyeing, because of its high cost.
Sumitomo Chemical/Sumika Chemtex place emphasis on the considerable advantage of Sumifix HF dyes in the dyeing of mixed fiber, giving various data on their dyeability and economical efficiency.
