Hank mercerizing

Two systems

There are two yarn mercerizing systems.

The system shown on the left in the figure is standard.

With this system, first cotton yarns are reeled in hanks and go for mercerizing, bleaching, neutralization and dyeing.

On the right is shown mercerized hank yarn which is supplied to other dyeing factories.
