1) Select the SCOTDIC cotton chart for the color matching of cellulose or cellulose-based fibers.
2) For the color matching of synthetic fiber, use the SCOTDIC polyester chart, for making the optimum selection of dye recipes in dyeing factories, according to color matching results with accurate spectral reflectance values.
3) For the color matching of animal fiber such as wool and silk, use the SCOTDIC wool charts, or 1) may be used as a substitute.

For the most rational and ideal color matching, have all three SCOTDIC charts, 1), 2) and 3), at hand.

The sole use of 1) may suffice if all three are not available, with only slight adjustments required for either manual or computerized color matching in dyeing factories.

SCOTDIC color charts are available in variety for each specific purpose.

SCOTDIC color charts have been dyed according to accurate calculations of hue, brightness and chroma, required for fiber dyeing.

The SCOTDIC color charts, made of dyed cloths, have been compiled according to accurate measurements of hue, brightness and chroma, for precise color determination both in product planning and in dyeing factories.
