Ways of using SCOTDIC; course A example
| Colors are found easily with SCOTDIC |
Select one of two ways to achieve a 3-day cycle;
from color determination, garment manufacturing to delivery.
Super quick operation is the first principle in the age of SCM (Supply Chain Management). In short, stocks should be non-existent, or special effort is called for towards this end.
Eliminate time wasted in the trial-and-error ways of color matching. Ideal color matching takes optimum, minimum time. Selection of two courses is available to achieve the ideal.
< Color determination with the use of SCOTDIC >
SCOTDIC can be used in the following manner for color planning and for passing color information onto dyeing factories.
Desired color locations can be found with speed
The accurate location of desired colors can be found in the SCOTDIC chart from three attributes of color; hue, brightness and chroma.
SCOTDIC, with its 6-digit notation system, allows swift search for the location of colors.
|
Colors have been broadly classified by hue, using the Munsell system (revised) which classifies colors clearly.
Identifying the hue is the first step for finding the desired color.
Select a similar hue to the desired color in the SCOTDIC wheel of color index, and open the corresponding page.
For hue '01', open page '01' for finding your desired color.
