A practical approach to streamlined printing
  1. Dye arrangement for polyester printing
Multiple color assortments created from 2 base-colors for smoother printing

Naoharu Oyabu, printing consultant

Mr. N. OYABU
A color management system called the Oyabu Color System (OCS) rationalizes polyester printing, with more than 1,000 shades created from 2 base-colors. It has already been used in many printing factories, mainly in Indonesia. The description of the system is available below.

The OCS, based on first-hand ideas conceived from working at Daido Maruta Senko for a rational print color management, was compiled later in my BASF days.

The idea of the OCS has been derived from overlapping of knowledge acquired from work-front experience at a printing factory and knowledge of dye characteristics working for a dye manufacturer.

I am the inventor, and the patent has been applied for by BASF Japan, under the name of OCM.
