Problem of Dyeing Polyester/Polyurethane Blend Moves towards Solution. |

Establishing New Technology in Japan by Blending Various Factors
Polyester/Polyurethane New Materials Expand to Outerwear. |
11. Dyeing machines used
In the case of using a piece dyeing machine to dye polyester/polyurethane blended materials at 120°C, it is necessary to choose a system that can reduce the tension while running the cloth within
the machine. In Japan, Hisaka Works, LTD., Nissen Corporation and Texam Co., Ltd. have introduced new types. Sclavos (Britain and Greece) has put out round type jet-dyeing machines with patented mechanisms.
Some of the jet-dyeing machines made in developing countries include dye baths on which a poor welding job has been done. These machines may damage the substrate.
Washing and dyeing should be carried out using the same dyeing machine so that the cost can be saved. After washing, the cloth should be dried with a dryer that does not damage hand.
