The quality of polyester/polyurethane conjugated materials relies on the finishing process.

A suitable process should be chosen from the following depending on the purpose of finishing:

(1) Soft finishing: Silicone types are effective. There are also urethane, polyamide, polyethylene types etc.

(2) Antistatic finishing : Urethane, polyhydric alcohol and alkyl sulfonate

(3) Water repellent finishing: Fluorine finishing, silicone types etc

Suitable finishing agents should be chosen, and padding carried out. After padding is complete, intermediate drying is necessary, and then final-setting should be carried out. There are various final-setting methods. It is ideal to choose appropriate final-setting devices depending on the type of finishing process carried out.
